Current research interests include the biomechanics of the lamina cribosa, and the causes of retinal ganglia cell death due to glaucoma.
Biography
Harrison Norman received B.S. degrees in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge in May 2012. At LSU, he did undergraduate research studying nano-photonic waveguides. During the spring of 2009 he worked as a research assistant at Institute of Medical Psychology and Behavioral Neurobiology, Universität Tübingen in Germany. He joined Georgia Tech's ECE department, and the interdisciplinary BioEngineering PhD program in fall 2012.
