Biography
I received my B.S. in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State in 2009 and started graduate work at Georgia Tech in 2010. My research involves a combination of neuroscience, statistical signal processing, and machine learning. Specifically, I am studying the neural representation of sound in auditory cortex and its functional consequence. I am also interested in the more general machine learning question that is, how can one learn the low-dimensional structures contained within a high-dimensional signal?
