Hey BioEs,
BioE is starting a series of student-professor lunch sessions. The goal is for grad students to learn more about the professors in the program; their research, career paths, and general research philosophies.
Dr. A. Fatih Sarioglu will be our first guest faculty on May 19th! Email me (jhooks8@gatech.edu) to register. We are keeping the group small to keep the conversation personal and involved. In addition, we will be catering lunch for the group from Highland Bakery.
Dr. Sarioglu recieved his PhD from Stanford University in 2010 in Electrical Engineering. He has been at Georgia Tech since October of 2014. His lab uses microfluidics, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), optics, electronics and signal processing to investigate and manipulate biological systems. Please come prepared with questions to have a focused and engaging discussion! Here's his lab website (http://biomems.gatech.edu/) to get you started!
See you there!
